The Eastern Front. One of the bloodiest and costliest of the Second World War. More than 80% of all combat took place on the Eastern Front, and now you can test your mettle on these historic battlegrounds.

In this campaign you will see action in a wide variety of engagements, from armoured combat in the Battle of Brody, to the Operation Mars offensive, and the tactical engagements at Lenino on the Dnieper River.

As the campaign forges its way into the Continuation War between Soviet and Finnish forces, explore rarely played maps in the Karelian Isthmus and the Nordic territories including Ihantala, Nietjärvi and the brutal fighting at Ilomantsithe last major Soviet attack.

Fight through harsh terrain, with swamps, lakes and small villages that will test your infantry skills and tactics.

Hide in immense forests to hunt down incoming tanks, and rise to the skies to achieve air superiority.

After months of mapping and development we are proud to offer another great FH2 campaign.

Be part of the Soviet 2nd Guards Motor Rifle Division, or fight as the Finnish Panssaridivisioona in 10 intense battles on great custom maps, a few of them unknown and being exclusively made and edited for this campaign.

Get your gaming gear ready for a community-led co-operative campaign on maps including Tali, Sinimaed, Tornio, Operation Little Saturn and other beautifully designed maps.

Hello and welcome back to another Forgotten Hope 2 update.

Today we are glad to announce that our White Wizard has done his magic : A new point-earning system for the Commander role, depending on the performance of the squad leaders in executing orders and on kill points from the regular soldiers.

Earning a certain amount of points will unlock special abilities, working similarly to our current artillery strike. A Commander will now be able to call new assets like a Goliath, a B-17 carpet bombing or a V-1 Flying Bomb.

In 1940, the Lufwaffe was sponsoring projects for precision attack missiles. Based on Paul Schmidt’s pulse jet engine, Engineer Dr. Fritz Gosslau at Argus Motoren Company started implementing a pulse jet engine on a remote-controlled unmanned aircraft.

Two years later Robert Lusser from Fieseler joined Gosslau in a collective effort to design a flying bomb. Named "Kirschstein" (Cherry Stone) or Fi 103, the bomb consisted of a aircraft-shaped metal body with a pair of wings made of plywood. Powered by an Argus 109-014 pulse jet above the tail and launched by catapult, the bomb carried an 850 Kg Amatol warhead.

With a maximum range of 240 km, the launching sites had to be located close to Great Britain in Western occupied Europe and Northern Germany, but it could also be launched from beneath flying He 111H bombers. Mass production started in mid 1943 but was heavily disrupted by Allied bombings, forcing the relocation of the production in undeground plants in March 1944.

The Fi103 was employed as a terror weapon and designed for attacks against city-targets like London, Antwerp & Liege, causing tens of thousands of civilian casualties. The Fi 103 was known in German propaganda as V-1, V standing for "Vergeltungswaffe" (revenge weapon). Around 30 000 V-1’s were produced. Ours was made by Matt Baker.

April Fools!
